Could you please post a progress report to those who have purchased the FTM2024 already. I would like to have some idea when to expect it to land. Or that is on hold due to the war or some communication. Even if you have to say sorry we can not get it out at all. That would be better than silence. Thirty dollars will not break the bank it is the trust you are loosing. Buy now, release by end of year, sorry middle of 2025 maybe?

I feel, to put it politely, like the company is pulling their leg. Here in Germany, they launched a complex survey, collected signatures, etc. Then FamilyTreeMaker 2019 was offered in German, but it’s true, there wasn’t one – it was in 2017. The promised German manual is still missing. Questions to support are answered with: “Our engineers are working on it.” For me, FamilyTreeMaker is the biggest rip-off ever offered in the “German software” category. I only use the English version to a limited extent. There are better software options. “Gramps” is a free program created by “researchers for researchers.”
